Very attractive aromas of dark chocolate, kirsch and dried raspberries with hints of anisette, dried orange peel and cedar. Medium- to full-bodied, long and persistent. It shows firm and chewy tannin and deep, succulent fruit. Broad and persistent. Better from 2028.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The Castello dei Rampolla 2020 Sammarco is a celebrated blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese from beautiful Panzano in Chianti. This is an abundant and explosive expression that delivers beautiful intensity with sharp black fruits backed by a mineral or metallic note of iron ore or rusty nail. The wine remains very focused and direct over a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel with velvety tannins.

From the hills and valleys surrounding the medieval village of Montalcino, come the distinguished and age-worthy wines based on Brunello (Sangiovese). Earning global acclaim since the 1970s, the Tuscan Blends are composed solely of international grape varieties or a mix of international and Sangiovese. The wine called Vine Nobile di Montepulciano, composed of Prognolo Gentile (Sangiovese) and is recognized both for finesse and power.
