Intense black cherry colour with layers of violet tones resulting in a wine with an attractive appearance. Complex nose with fragrant and ripe red and black fruit. On the palate the wines shows powerful fruit, which is perfectly balanced, full and intense. Long finish.

The young red 2022 Tinto Sobre Lías was produced with a blend of 75% Garnacha and 25% Syrah is ripe and fruit-driven, with a juicy texture, 14% alcohol and fine tannins. It has notes of berries, herbs and spices with a Mediterranean twist. Clean and primary.
With bold fruit flavors and accents of sweet spice, Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre form the base of the classic Rhône Red Blend, while Carignan, Cinsault and Counoise often come in to play. Though they originated from France’s southern Rhône Valley, with some creative interpretation, Rhône blends have also become popular in other countries. Somm Secret—Putting their own local spin on the Rhône Red Blend, those from Priorat often include Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. In California, it is not uncommon to see Petite Sirah make an appearance.
This northeastern Spanish town is believed to be the origin of the grape with the same name. However, Carinena (in French, known as Carignan) has all but been abandoned in favor of Garnacha, which is better suited for its arid climate. The region of Carinena also produces fine examples of whites based on Garnacha Blanca, Macabeo, Parellada and others.
