Distiller Notes
Unlike other fine spirits such as many whiskies, or vodka, which can contain other added ingredients, Campeon is 100% pure highland blue agave juice. Most tequila on the market today is a blend of a small percentage of Agave juice with added sugar cane alcohol to create what most consumers refer to as Tequila. For maximum flavor, Campeon is distilled and then bottled at 80 proof, never diluting the lush flavors or product quality with anything but the juice of the Highland Blue Agave.

Imagine standing at the shore of the Atlantic Ocean, the sea air wafting its natural brine. That is the aroma from this silver tequila. Add to that a squeeze of lime and a handful of sand and clay. On the palate, salt air becomes peppered vanilla bean, with fresh notes of sandalwood and toffee-flavor agave.
Tequila Blanco, or ‘white Tequila’, is also known as Tequila Plata, or ‘silver Tequila’. Its clear color is the result of being bottled immediately after distillation instead of being aged in oak barrels like Tequila Reposado or Anejo. Because of their youth and lack of barrel influence, Blanco Tequilas are thought to offer the purest expression of blue agave available, with notes of citrus and pepper. However, they can also be quite forceful and energetic on the palate without the moderating influence of time and wood.
