Vinous
The 2011 Vecina is dark, savory and beautifully layered, as wines from this Oakville site tend to be. Medium in body, the 2011 has reached is first plateau of maturity. All the elements are so well balanced. Dried herbs, leather, tobacco, cedar and iron are woven throughout a core of dark fruit in this expressive Cabernet from Vine Hill Ranch, one of the finest sites in all of Napa Valley.

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
The 2011 Vecina Proprietary Red Blend possesses Pauillac-like notes of scorched earth, new saddle leather, spice box, vanillin and blackcurrants. With great fruit, stunning depth and a distinctive earthiness, this open-knit, opulent, juicy, fleshy 2011 should drink well for 15-20 years.
