Thanks to its peculiar balance of density and freshness, this wine is excellent to start and end a complete meal in its company. Pair this wine alongside white and oily fish or foie gras.

A crisp and tangy chardonnay with sliced-apple and lime aromas and flavors. Some minerals, too. It’s medium-bodied with slate, stone and some black-tea undertones. Very nicely made.
One of the most popular and versatile white wine grapes, Chardonnay offers a wide range of flavors and styles depending on where it is grown and how it is made. While it tends to flourish in most environments, Chardonnay from its Burgundian homeland produces some of the most remarkable and longest lived examples. California produces both oaky, buttery styles and leaner, European-inspired wines. Somm Secret—The Burgundian subregion of Chablis, while typically using older oak barrels, produces a bright style similar to the unoaked style. Anyone who doesn't like oaky Chardonnay would likely enjoy Chablis.
Just north of Spain’s famous Rioja region, Navarra excels in the production of full and fruit-dominant reds and good quality, dry rosés. Garnacha holds most of the land under vine, with Tempranillo coming in second place.
