85% Prugnolo Gentile, 15% Cabernet-Sauvignon. Ageing: in oak barrels for 30 months. Refinement in bottles: 9 months. Characteristics: Vino Nobile "Grandi Annate" is garnet red in color; its bouquet remind of red berries with a slight scent of violet; the taste is fullbodied, round, with a very long finish.

A broad, earthy red, displaying Chambord, black pepper, peony and tobacco flavors. Burly and muscular on the slightly dry finish, where the gritty tannins take over. Best from 2013 through 2023. 2,000 cases made.
