Alkoomi Shiraz has aromas of violets, black cherries, and peppery spices. On the palate, blackberries, cherries, milk chocolate and red fruits. Savory tannins and pepper notes lead to a juicy and bright finish.

Previously known as Black Label Shiraz. Co-fermented with 'a bit' of viognier, and matured in French oak (20% new). Silky, floral, velvety, robust, dusty, ripe and spiced. All very good things here, and unbelievably wrapped up in $28 and smart packaging. The Alkoomi Collection range is a bit of a marvel. Blood plum, mulberry, blackberry and raspberry with lashings of salted licorice, ferrous and lavender. Another ripping wine here – bravo team Cherry.
