Distiller Notes
Bright amber color with a nose of prunes, raisin fruit, toasty oak and tropical spiced. Intense mouth-feel of sweet sultana fruit, tobacco, and chocolate, with vanilla from the oak. Complex finish with sweet fruit, caramel, and spice.
Admiral Rodney Royal Oak, the original Admiral Rodney blend, contains 7-12 year old Coffey still rum that has been aged exclusively in previously used Bourbon casks and blended to perfection.

This complex sipper offers plenty of fruit and spice. Brown butter aromas lead into a concentrated caramel palate framed by hints of dried cherry and orange peel, ending on clove and smoke. Made with a blend of seven- to 12-year-old rums.
Often referred to as a Gold Rum, an Aged Rum is one that has been aged in barrels, often Ex-Bourbon or White Oak before bottling. As the Rum continues to age, it draws more and more color and flavor from the wood, adding both body and complexity to the finished product. Aged Rums can be sipped neat or added to cocktails. They fall somewhere in between White and Dark Rums in terms of their respective strength of flavor.
