Wine Gift Trio Includes:
- Chile: 2010 Maquis
The Hurtado family has owned the Vina Maquis vineyard for more than a century, but it wasn't until ten years ago that the family decided to make their own wine out of the terrific grapes in their own backyard. Their 2008 Cabernet is fresh, with sweet tannins and a full-bodied flavor that ends in a lovely, lingering finish.

- California: 2009 Firestone Santa Ynez Valley
Firestone Vineyard specializes in expressive high-quality wines from estate and select vineyards in the Santa Ynez Valley and Paso Robles. The nose on the 2009 Santa Ynez Valley Cabernet is generous, with cassis, plum, vanilla, dusty spice, cedar, tobacco, clove and toffee. The palate is lush, juicy and balanced, with underlying tannins that add grip to the finish.

- Australia: 2010 Penley Estate Phoenix
Penley Estate is critically acclaimed as one of Coonawarra's leading estates. In the Phoenix Cabernet Sauvignon, mulberry and blackberry are the dominant fruit flavors enhanced by a tight palate, with silky grape tannins and elegant complex cedar oak, so typical of Penley Style.

Due to the popularity of this gift, wines or vintages sometimes sell out. Should this happen, we will always substitute with the current vintage and wines with equal or greater value.
The Napa Valley and Cabernet Sauvignon are so intrinsically linked that it is difficult to discuss one without thinking of the other. Although Cabernet has many important outposts throughout the wine world, nowhere else has it achieved such success (and, at the highest end, commanded such lofty prices) than in Napa. Here, it is responsible for bold, opulent, and dark-fruited wines with grippy tannins and a healthy dose of alcohol. The best examples can age for decades. Each of Napa’s smaller sub-AVAs imparts a different character to Cabernet, such as Rutherford’s famous dust or Stags Leap District's tart cherry flavors.
