Join music icon Sting and his wife Trudie for a tasting of their Il Palagio wines. From the mid-1500s Il Palagio has harvested, fermented and bottled its own wines in the lush, fertile Tuscan countryside south of Florence. Sting and Trudie have gone to great lengths to keep the tradition alive. Using organic farming methods, they have replanted 27 acres of vineyards since 2000, resulting in four beautiful reds. Wine.com host Gwendolyn Osborn moderates the conversation between Sting and Trudie as they taste their Roxanne Toscana Bianco, When We Dance Chianti, and Sister Moon Tuscan Blend.

  Aromas of black pepper and black licorice with blackberries. Medium to full-bodied, with soft and round tannins and a polished tannic finish. Fruit-forward and elegant and with a hint of chocolate. Pairs well with steak, pasta dishes, Château Briand, or on its own with a bit of cheese.
