This rich version of reposado embraces all the flavors oak can impart. Look for a burnished gold hue and lots of vanilla on nose and palate. Maple, sarsaparilla, and cocoa all take their turns, leading into clove and allspice on the long finish. Aged six months
Villa One is an ultra-premium, hand-crafted tequila founded by Nick Jonas and John Varvatos. These creatives from the worlds of music and fashion, respectively, came together over a love for tequila and for experiencing "life as it should be," with friends old and new, one glass at a time.
Unlike other tequilas, Villa One sources 100% blue weber agave from both the Highland and Lowland regions of Jalisco, Mexico. This unique combination of agave flavors combines herbaceous, earthy Lowland notes with the sweeter, fruity notes of Highland agave, resulting in a distinct, rounded profile.
Villa One Tequila is hand-crafted at our small distillery, Fabrica de Tequilas Finos, in Jalisco. We like to say it is ‘made the way it should be’. We use sustainably-sourced 100% blue weber agave from both lowlands and highlands regions of Jalisco and fresh water drawn from the artesian well on the property and a double-pot distillation process to give a unique character and a distinctively smooth finish.
Tequila Reposado refers to Tequilas that have been ‘rested’, or aged, in oak barrels for a minimum of two months but not more than one year. Depending on the specific flavors a tequilero wishes to impart on the spirit, a variety of different barrels may be used, from Brandy and Bourbon, to Wine and Sherry. The time spent on the wood allows Reposado Tequilas to mellow as they age, softening and rounding powerful flavor components brought by the agave and marrying them to subtle notes of caramel and vanilla brought by the barrel itself.
