Woody Creek Distillers is a grain to glass distillery founded in 2012 in the town of Basalt in the Roaring Fork Valley near Aspen, Colorado. Proud to use produce grown on their family farm and the farms of their neighbors, Woody Creek Distillers is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the natural resources of the Woody Creek region and is a proud winner of Best Farm Distillery from the American Distilling Institute in 2019. Acclaimed actor William H Macy is both a neighbor and a partner for Woody Creek. Wine.com host Gwendolyn Osborn leads this special tasting with William and David as we taste their Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Straight Rye Whiskey.

  Made from 70% Colorado corn and a blend of local rye & malted barley. Aged at least four years in new American oak barrels, medium toast char #3. Proof: 90.
• Woody Creek Distillers Straight Rye Whiskey
  Each bottle of our 100% Colorado Rye is crafted in our custom CARL stills using locally grown rye from trusted Colorado farms, then gracefully aged a minimum of four years in new American Oak. Indeed, this is how you turn rye into gold. Made from 100% Colorado rye and aged in new American oak barrels, medium toast char #3. Embodies distinct rye character with pronounced white pepper throughout the palate, notes of citrus peel on the nose, and oaky vanilla mid-palate.
