Earth Day Global Wine Tasting

Watch a global tasting and conversation about sustainable practices in the wine industry with winery principals from three continents. We begin our tasting in California’s Russian River Valley with Joy Sterling and Sofian Himeur of Iron Horse Vineyards presenting their Ocean Reserve Blanc de Blancs Sparkling Wine, in partnership with National Geographic, to help restore the ocean's health and abundance. Next, we’re tasting Pinot Noir from New Zealand and hear about emission reduction and the great land care at Zealand’s Estate from famed winemaker Natalia Christensen of Yealands. We conclude with Robert Eden of Château Maris presenting his Syrah/Grenache blend from Minervois La Liviniere in the south of France. Wine Spectator, Wine Advocate and Wine Enthusiast have all named Château Maris one of the most environmentally friendly wineries in the world and was the first European vineyard to obtain “B Corporation” certification.
