Winemaker Notes

With a "Very Southern" note on the nose, oriental spice, ripe fruit... The attack is full, rich with wonderful structure. The finish persists over the typical freshness of the wines and the present yet soft tannins.

Ideal with the classics, of course: lamb, leg of lamb, small cutlets, grilled meat, cooked meats, and why not with tajines, or couscous and raisins.

A fantastic source of dry rosés from the usual red Rhône varieties, Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence is a coastal, hilly region whose variations in elevations and microclimates make it ideal for viticulture. Red and a small amount of white wines, also made from Rhône grape varieties, are found here as well.
