Alcohol By Volume Guide

  • 10%
  • 16+%
Most wine ranges from 10-16% alcohol by volume. Some varietals tend to have higher (for example Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon) or lower alcohol levels (Pinot Noir and many white varietals), but there is always some variation from producer to producer. Some wine falls outside of this range, for instance Port weighs in closer to 20%, while Muscat and Riesling are usually a bit below 10%.

A brilliant, bright luminescent straw colour with green tinges bursting with a mix of passionfruit, lychee and grapefruit aromas and hints of lime. Taltarni Sauvignon Blanc 2008 is the perfect spring and summer wine.

Critical Acclaim

"Pale yellow hue. Crisp scents of lime, grapefruit and mineral. Bracing acidity and juicy flavors of lime and lemon. Hints of vanilla and white peach in the juicy close."

If you like to unwind with a crisp wine that is smooth, fruit on the tongue like apples and finishes dry and long ... this is a real bargain. Bought two cases.
