Zaca Mesa Chardonnay 1998
This crisp, layered wine shows forward papaya, mango, honey, lemon and cinnamon aromas. The mid-palate is round, showing green apple, pear, and mineral notes. The finish is lively and lengthy carrying the flavors through the mouth straight down the throat. It will be best matched with fresh shellfish, yellowtail or halibut, or a favorite lemon-chicken recipe. Drink this wine over the next 5-6 years.
