Wagner Family Tasting Set
Join the Wagner family, the founders of Caymus Vineyards, for a tasting of four incredible wines from their portfolio. Wine.com host Gwendolyn Osborn leads a conversation with Chuck Wagner, who founded Caymus with his parents over 45 years ago, and his children Charlie and Jenny Wagner, as we taste their Emmolo Sparkling Wine, Conundrum Red Blend, Bonanza Cabernet Sauvignon and, of course, their Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tasting Set Includes:
- Emmolo Methode Traditionelle Sparkling Wine
This wine is sourced from cooler coastal regions of California, with a richly developed character inspired by our favorite Champagnes. No. 2 bottling is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, produced on Méthode Traditionelle. It is non-vintage, affording greater ability to achieve our desired style. Features soft bubbles and freshness that yields to creaminess from extended aging.
- Conundrum Red Blend
Sourced from premier California winegrowing regions, Conundrum Red features dark red varietals including Petite Sirah, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is rich, complex and approachable. With lush flavors of cherries and baking chocolate, this wine has fine tannins that create a silky smoothness. Be daring and drink Conundrum Red chilled to enhance its fruit profile and enjoy it any time of year.
- Bonanza California Cabernet Sauvignon
This Cabernet Sauvignon reflects the "bonanza" of the great state of California – the discovery of land where delicious Cabernet can be farmed. Calling back to a time when good wine with dinner was a simple pleasure, Bonanza features flavors of dark berries, vanilla, and toasty bread with silky tannins.
- Caymus Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Caymus has a signature style that is dark in color, with rich fruit and ripe, velvety tannins – as approachable in youth as in maturity. We farm Cabernet grapes in eight of Napa’s 16 sub-appellations, with diversification enabling us to make the best possible wine in a given year. Our Cabernet offers layered, lush aromas and flavors, including cocoa, cassis, and ripe dark berries.
