    Winemaker Notes

Vignole Chianti Classico DOCG has a deep red color, and the nose bursts through with intense wild berries, gladiolas and violets. It is full bodied and warm. The palate follows the aromas, with supple and well integrated tannins. It has a long, satisfying finish.

Vignole Chianti Classico is a perfect accompaniment to game, roasted red meats and mature cheeses. The wine benefits from being opened a few hours before serving.

    Blend: 85% Sangiovese, 15% Merlot

    Vignole
Vignole farm is situated in the heart of Chianti Classico, in proximity of the town of Panzano. The Nistri family, who has worked in the wine sector since 1865, acquired the property in 1970. The vineryard covers 51 acres. The vineyards are situated along the river Pesa, better known in the Panzane zone as "the Conca d' Oro", because of the high quality wines that come from here. The altitude varies between 950 –1050 feet above sea level and the vineyards get long sun exposure to the south-east and south-west.
