The 2017 Tusk is an absolute must for your cellar. Despite all odds, this is proof that the classic rules of great vintages no longer exist. The season was intensely hot, so making Tusk in 2017 had an extra set of challenges. Nevertheless, opening a bottle was lust beyond satisfying. Intense aromatics of lavender, cassis, coffee, sweet tobacco, ripe currant extract, spiced plum and candied orange rind explodes from the glass. The mouthfeel strikes on all cylinders, powerful with a mineral background giving an extra dimension and finishing with a sense of pure satisfaction.
