Stonehedge California Chardonnay 2000

The 2000 Stonehedge "Barrel Fermented" Chardonnay is produced from grapes grown in some of California's finest vineyards, including "Sleepy Hollow Vineyard" in Monterey. The wine exhibits juicy tropical pineapple, nectarine and ripe apricot flavors finishing off with subtle honey-hazelnut notes and undertones of toasty vanilla oak. As always, the wine is 100% fermented in small American oak barrels. The wine has undergone 100% malolactic fermentation offering a buttery core delivered in a crisp and refreshing orchestration of flavors.
