Winemaker Notes
This Zinfandel is classically relective of Dry Creek Valley, with bright, focused aromas of raspberry, black cherry and currant. The flavors echo the nose with the spicy, briary and berry impressions so typical of this variety. The French oak aging as well as the addition of small amounts of Syrah and Petite Sirah lend a round, toasty impression that supports the wine's fruit structure and adds complexity and length to the finish.
