Tasting Set Includes:
- Cambria Julia's Vineyard Rose of Pinot Noir
Julia’s Vineyard, named for Julia Jackson in 1988, consists of ancient soils with fossilized seashells, shale, limestone, and sand, with fog-swept vines that have endured since the 1970s. This unique piece of land thrives in the cool, maritime influences that funnel in from the Pacific Ocean, allowing for a long, cool growing season. This Rosé of Pinot Noir has pronounced aromas of white peach, strawberry, and citrus. The palate is medium-bodied, with balancing and refreshing acidity, leading to a finish that expresses watermelon and grapefruit. A summer favorite, perfect for brunch or a picnic. - diatom Bar-M Vineyard Chardonnay
Like a pent up wave just about to break, rich and luxurious fruit harnessed in by bracing acidity and precision. Lemon, citrus blossom, and wet sand on the nose. Precise and balanced textures. Impeccably clean, focused and transportive to the maritime landscape from which the wine emerges. Saline, white peach flavors. - Nielson Santa Barbara Pinot Noir
This wine has an elegant bouquet of black cherry, tea leaf, a slight caramel note, and some lighter more lifted red fruit aromas. On the palate, the wine has a density and weight to it that gives a luxurious mouthfeel with more flavors of red fruit, earth, and a savory quality that demands another sip.
