      Description

Riedel decanters combine sophistication and elegance with optimal shapes for aeration. Decanting old wines, just a few moments before they are served, helps to ensure that the wine's clarity and brilliance are not obscured by any deposit that may have developed over time. Decanting young wines several hours before they are served gives the wine a chance to bloom and attain a stage of development that normally requires years of aging.

The Riedel Black Tie Amadeo Decanter resembles the elegant curves of a classical lyre. Hand-made and mouth-blown, this lead crystal decanter features a beautiful black accent line blown seamlessly into the body of the vessel, that runs along the top and down through the center of this decanter. The decanter stands 13 7/8" high, and holds 1,500ML/52-7/8 oz. Made from 24% lead crystal.

      Wine sold separately.

Attention California residents. Proposition 65 warning:
Consuming foods or beverages that have been kept or served in leaded crystal products or handling products made of leaded crystal will expose you to lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Riedel Crystal was started in 1756 by Johann Christoph Riedel, a Bohemian who sold glassware across Europe. Now in its tenth generation, Riedel is known across the world for creating the most perfect wine and spirits lead crystal. Based on years of research, this glassware is shaped to ampilfy or turn down a wine's good and bad points.
