Poli Jacopo Poli Arzente Brandy (375ML half-bottle)
Poli Arzente displays aromas of herbal tea, dried fruits, nuts and toasted oak. On the palate the brandy combines the fine, delicate aromas of Trebbiano and complex toasty notes from oak maturation; overall, it is smooth, mouth filling and elegant.
A fine 10 year-old, single vintage brandy distilled from wine made from Trebbiano di Soave. Low in alcohol and tannins and high acidity, renders this variety ideal for production of a wine brandy.

The initial nosing passes find fetching scents of light caramel, brown butter and nougat; following aeration the aroma turns mildly burnt and slightly pipe tobacco-like. Entry tastes of cocoa and is very honeyed; the midpalate offers smoky tastes of brown sugar, sweet oak, vanilla extract and chocolate covered orange. Concludes semisweet, nutty and medium-weighted. Range: 90-95
Since 1898 the Poli family has been operating their artisanal grappa distillery located near Bassano del Grappa, in the heart of the Veneto. Today, fourth-generation Jacopo Poli has elevated grappa production to an art form. Selecting only the freshest grape pomace from some of the best winemakers in Italy, he uses a traditional copper pot still - in operation for more than a century! Jacopo works very closely with these producers during harvest and never accepts more grape pomace than can be immediately processed. This attention to detail has resulted in grappas with exceptional fruit character and unparalleled elegance.
Taking its name from the Dutch term, brandewijn, for burnt or cooked wine, in the broadest sense of the term, Brandy is any liquor made from the distillation of fruit wine. Though any kind of fruit may be used, wine grapes are the most common. Clear Brandy, commonly referred to as Eau de Vie, is unaged and bottled directly after distillation. Finer grape-based Brandies are often aged in oak barrels for anywhere from two years (VS) to six years (XO) or longer, gradually gaining color and complexity as they interact with the wood.
