The Grampians is about two-and-a-half hours west of Melbourne, the base of a mountain range that runs 2,000 miles up Australia’s east coast. Australia has a long heritage of Italian influence, notably boosted by post-WWII immigration. It was the Italians who brought us the espresso machine and a love of table wines. We pay homage to their influence by drinking their Tuscan mainstay. This is another single vineyard, with vine age 22 yeas.
The wines are an exploration of vineyard sites around Australia, with a slight bias toward the state of Victoria, undoubtedly Australia’s food and wine capital. Vines are grown with the utmost respect to the surrounding environment.
