To achieve Nolet's Reserve Gin’s complex, unforgettable flavor and dry, long-lasting final impression, Carolus Nolet Sr. handcrafted a recipe highlighting two distinctive botanicals: warm spicy saffron and subtle, delicate verbena.
Verbena lends its delicate citrus flavor and soothing nature to Nolet's Reserve. From the Crocus flower the threads in the calyx are cultivated by hand to be sold as Saffron, the world’s most expensive spice.
Today, Nolet Distillery is the oldest distillery in Holland that is still in the hands of the founding family, a testament to the strength of the Nolet family and their passion for distilling. Founded in 1691 in Schiedam, Nolet Distillery has remained a prominent fixture in the city’s distilling history, surviving throughout the French Revolution and two World Wars. The distillery has been exporting spirits to the United States since the late 19th century.
