Juan Dobel, a man who has traveled the seven continents and come to know the best of the best in the world, had one passion: To craft the first-ever diamond tequila. With a vault of the rarest tequilas at his disposal and a seventh generation distilling lineage to boast, Juan set out to create the most exquisite tequila in the world to be sipped by kings, sultans and businessmen alike. He proved victorious with Dobel. A blend of Reposado, Anejo and Extra Anejo tequilas which have been gently filtered give the tequila an incredible Diamond Clarity and crispness. This purity combined with the complexity derived from the aged tequilas makes Reserva del Maestro Dobel a completely unique Tequila. The tequila is hand crafted in small batches and aged in new oak casks from Southen Europe before getting bottled, labeled by hand and individually numbered. The agave is grown for eight to ten years and then hand selected by Jimadores at one of the family's best quality producing ranches as you can read on every bottle. Juan Dobel, a visionary artist, skilled craftsman, and creator of the world’s most exquisite tequila.
Tequila Reposado refers to Tequilas that have been ‘rested’, or aged, in oak barrels for a minimum of two months but not more than one year. Depending on the specific flavors a tequilero wishes to impart on the spirit, a variety of different barrels may be used, from Brandy and Bourbon, to Wine and Sherry. The time spent on the wood allows Reposado Tequilas to mellow as they age, softening and rounding powerful flavor components brought by the agave and marrying them to subtle notes of caramel and vanilla brought by the barrel itself.
