Hogue Genesis Semillon 1999

Hogues 1999 Semillon has aromas of toasty oak, dried fig, vanilla, pear and talc. Round and soft on the palate, the wine has flavors of fig and toasted pear, with a slight tangerine accent on the crisp finish. Typical of Semillon made from grapes grown in eastern Washington state, this one has good structure and viscosity. Its flavor profile and weight will match nicely with grilled foods, especially seafood, and most chicken dishes, including those with rich cream- or butter-based sauces.
