The deep garnet-red color leads to a nose of bright red cherry, raspberry, and cola characters with hints of tobacco and cedary oak. The palate is bright and lively with lovely dark plum and cherry flavors following
through with a finish of velvety tannins. For optimal enjoyment, this wine is best served at ever so slightly below room temperature.
Pairs well with grilled flat iron steak, lamb burgers, Mediterranean-style chicken, and goat cheese and wild mushroom bruschetta.
Founded in 1880 as California’s 29th bonded winery, Geyser Peak Winery has more than 135 years of winemaking history in Sonoma County.
