James Suckling
Rich and perfumed nose of lavender, walnuts, neroli, plums and oranges. It’s medium-bodied with firm, chalky tannins. Pretty spice and fragrance with a chewy finish. Better after 2024.

Decanter
Juicy and intense in flavour (strawberry and black cherry) but this retains a sense of elegance in the presentation, not too spicy or too ripe, but clear and well defined with good acidity, minerality and length. It maybe doesn't have the weight right now, the tannins are extremely firm, giving a slight sense of severity on the palate - definite tension and linearity - but this will open and widen if given time.
