Distiller Notes

Santa Rita is a big rectangular nave with a total area of over three thousand square meters built on a tepetate stone table; one of its walls is stone carved and the other one is an aqueduct; it has seven meters cast iron French columns, rail beams and brick Catalan vaulted ceilings. It still has the remains of the original tahona, semi circularly carved in the stone, three brick ovens, a platform for stills also structured with cast iron beams and bolted suspenders, an internal transport system with rails and two cars manufactured by Krupp to move the cooked mezcal; as well as a steam engine.
The Santa Rita Factory is the same one in which now the descendants of Mr. Maximiano Hernández Orozco manufactured mezcal wine, tequila and currently Distillate of Agave, always under the highest quality principle of conservation.
