The more the spectacular sangiacomo vineyard matures, the more dramatic its wines become. rich, concentrated and compelling, this is an epic pinot noir. The sangiacomo signature of hyper-red fruit notes combines with good acidity and a steely minerality to add poise and precision. Beautifully designed dark ruby color commingles with sweet hard candy , raspberries, red currants and dried spices. On the palate, rich flavors of cherry compote and mulled holiday spices are supported by hints of mint, flint and gravel. while there is a smooth, velvety ripeness to this wine, the lingering finish has a nice grip that bodes well for a long life
