Tre Monti Thea Sangiovese 2000

The Tre Monti winery was founded in the early 1960s by Sergio Navacchia and his wife Thea, who for years was the driving force of the farm, and died in 1989.

The early 1980s were a turning point: the primary objective was to reach quality levels unknown at that time in Romagna. The revolution began in the vineyard (new vines, drastic lowering of yield, thinning out) and continued in the cellar. Here a fundamental element was the working relationship formed with the cream of Italian winemaking: the very young Francesco Spagnolli in the early 1980s, then Vittorio Fiore and later Donato Lanati.
