There’s 14 barrels of the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley and it’s a perfect introduction to the style of the vintage. Blueberry, blackberry jam, incense, and Asian spice notes all emerge from this plump, full-bodied, sexy 2015 that has sweet tannin and loads of character. Drink it anytime over the coming 15 years.

Very pretty iodine and plum aromas with tile, all of which follow through to a medium body with round and soft tannins. A delicious finish. Why wait? Drink now.

Combines a rich, creamy mix of flavors and textures, with dark berry, cedar, anise and vanilla notes and a sense of elegance, finesse and grace, ending long and smooth. Drink now through 2030.

The blend of vineyards for the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is predominantly Cimarossa vineyard and smaller percentages of To Kalon, Melanson, Tierra Roja, Herb Lamb and Vine Hill Ranch, fermented as individual wines and then blended back together after many blending trials. Deep garnet-purple colored, it's scented of crème de cassis, blueberry pie, violets, earth and herbs. The palate is full-bodied, plush, opulent and ready for business, finishing spicy and long.

We make great wines simply because we love making them. Wine is irresistible, it is fun, and it is about sharing passion, good fortune and community. TOR exists today because of the relationships we’ve cultivated over decades with mentors, grapegrowers and friends. This is indisputable: Tor knows a great vineyard. Less is always more when it comes to bottling some of the best grapes on the planet. In the tussle between the will of nature and the winemaker – our work is staying out of the way.

One of the most prestigious wines of the world capable of great power and grace, Napa Valley Cabernet is a leading force in the world of fine, famous, collectible red wine. Today the Napa Valley and Cabernet Sauvignon are so intrinsically linked that it is difficult to discuss one without the other. But it wasn’t until the 1970s that this marriage came to light; sudden international recognition rained upon Napa with the victory of the Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars 1973 Cabernet Sauvignon in the 1976 Judgement of Paris.

Cabernet Sauvignon undoubtedly dominates Napa Valley today, covering half of the land under vine, commanding the highest prices per ton and earning the most critical acclaim. Cabernet Sauvignon’s structure, acidity, capacity to thrive in multiple environs and ability to express nuances of vintage make it perfect for Napa Valley where incredible soil and geographical diversity are found and the climate is perfect for grape growing. Within the Napa Valley lie many smaller sub-AVAs that express specific characteristics based on situation, slope and soil—as a perfect example, Rutherford’s famous dust or Stags Leap District's tart cherry flavors.
