Winemaker Notes

The 1997-harvest season was ideal for grapes ripening--cool July, warmer August and perfect in September and October. The grapes ripened slowly and developed rich flavors of cherry and dark berry. A small amount of Cabernet Franc (7%) was blended for added complexity and a longer finish.
