Inky garnet in the glass, this red blend offers aromas of cassis, raspberry and juniper berry. There is a nice mélange of fruit and herbal flavors, especially blackberry, black cherry, thyme and oregano with a hint of tobacco. Chewy tannins recede in tandem with a bright burst on the finish.

This feels Mediterranean on the front end, the plummy fruit spicy and generous; then cabernet and petit verdot come in on the back end, shutting the wine down with their lean, peppery fruit and tannins. Give it some time in the cellar and it may knit together.

The Upper Galilee mountain range is much more than an abode for Galil Mountain Winery; it’s the Winery’s heart and soul. Sitting in a breathtaking spot atop the Upper Galilee mountain range, the innovatively designed winery is committed to revitalizing the region’s rich history of winemaking.
