Our 1997 Zinfandel is a rich and lusty wine, with the creamy, persistent concentration of fruit which only low-yielding old vines can provide. Aromas and flavors of red raspberries and plums combine with a chocolatey richness, making this one of the most seriously hedonistic wines we have yet produced. Serve this wine with barbecued meats in sweet, smoky sauces, sausage pasta, and spicy preparations of all kinds.

Firestone Vineyard was founded in 1972 as the first major estate winery established in Santa Barbara County. With 260 acres of historic vineyards, Firestone lies approximately 26 miles from the Pacific Ocean in Santa Ynez Valley.
