  Always a big, ripe and voluptuous wine, the 2012 Syrah The Big Easy is no exception. It is a blend of 62% Syrah, 30% Petite Sirah and 8% Grenache that saw 20 months in 48% new French and American oak. It's loaded with blockbuster notes of black and blue fruits, white chocolate, melted licorice and hints of vanilla bean. These give way to full-bodied, concentrated and ripe red that has surprising elegance, purity and focus that shows on the finish. It's packed with flavor and represents a great value at this quality.
