Bold where others are bland, daring where others falter, this Cabernet Sauvignon refuses to bow to convention. Concentrated flavors of blackberry and cherry persist on the palate, that leaves a lasting impression.

    Featuring Nellie Bly:
Nellie Bly smashed expectations for women in investigative journalism by going undercover to explore the dark nature of insane asylums and sweatshops. A born adventurer, she traveled the globe in 72 days to turn the fictional "Around the World in 80 Days" into fact.

Blend: 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Petit Verdot, 4% Petite Sirah, 1% Malbec

EMBRAZEN is more than just a wine brand. It is a call to arms, daring to reclaim her narrative and rewrite history. By celebrating trailblazers of the past, EMBRAZEN illuminates a new way forward, igniting paths to a future where every woman can brazenly revel in the spotlight. So here’s to the women who came before us. And here’s to the women of today. Our power lies in their stories. And it’s time to blow the lid, pop the cork, and roar out a toast.

With a brand like EMBRAZEN, it should be no surprise that its winemaker is a woman. Olivia Teutschel grew up in the Santa Cruz Mountains and graduated with a degree in Wine and Viticulture and a Double Concentration in Wine Business and Enology.  Olivia is passionate about what EMBRAZEN stands for and is crafting the perfect bold blends that brazen women would be proud to represent.

Covering the most vine acreage in the state compared to any other red wine variety, Cabernet Sauvignon produces as much wine in California as Merlot and Pinot Noir combined. The state’s diverse terrain and microclimates, as well as the freedom of its winemakers, allow for an incredible range of wine styles from this single grape.

California’s most famous region—and especially for Cabernet Sauvignon—is the acclaimed Napa Valley. While Cabernet is successful throughout the world, rarely has it achieved such merit as it does from the Napa Valley. At this point the two are so intrinsically linked that it is difficult to discuss one without the other.

Napa’s closest neighbor, Sonoma County, does an impressive job keeping up with Napa’s fame and glory. Alexander Valley, Sonoma Mountain, Moon Mountain and Knights Valley contribute to the lot of some of California’s top-rated Cabernet Sauvignon.

Lake County in California’s North Coast has become a focus for some of Napa’s more respected growers. From the Central Coast come iconic examples of classic California Cabernet; Lodi and the Sierra Foothills are great budget-friendly sources of amicable Cabernets.
