Tasting Set Includes:
- Bollinger Special Cuvee (375ML half-bottle)
A blend par excellence, the Special Cuvée is the purest expression of the Bollinger style; of its craftsmanship and its singular conception of what a champagne should be. It is, therefore, on this wine that the House of Bollinger shows how it is different from other Champagne Houses, asserts its qualitative policy and by which it asks to be judged. - Chateau Montelena Chardonnay
The wine opens with fresh peach, apricot, and honeydew amidstcitrus blossom and rose water. The diversity of aromas in this vintage is astounding as the floral characteristics begin to take center stage with time in the glass along with ample fresh pear and cinnamon. Lush, viscous, and driven by lemon curd, the palate leans toward creaminess but with enough bright acid, green apple, and toast to bring balance and finesse. The ripeness of the vintage drives the mouthfeel as the flavors exude freshness and vibrancy, a unique combination. Concentrated and persistent, again stone fruit appear, albeitin candied form, along with a hint of white pepper and plenty of orange zest. - Ornellaia Le Volte dell’Ornellaia
The wine is characterized by its usual deep ruby red color. A pleasant bouquet of ripe red fruits and spices is sustained on the palate by crisp acidity and an open, enveloping tannic structure. - Guigal Crozes-Hermitage
Crozes-Hermitage can be considered the gateway to the red and white wines of the Northern Rhône Valley. The reds, which are the majority of production, have wonderful warm flavors of red and black fruit, and typical Syrah pepper, spice and savory notes.
