The 1997 Sauvignon Blanc was truly made in the vineyard, and harvested at the perfect moment. When we realized how much fruitiness we had to work with in the winery, we barrel-fermented a portion of the wine to soften the acids, add complexity, and give the wine's melon and floral scents greater lushness on the palate. If you prefer clean, crisp Sauvignon Blancs, this wine is for you.
