The 2018 Clos LaChance Cabernet Sauvignon is a garnet color. Aromas of plum, blackberry, and green pepper exude from the glass. The palate packs a fresh fruit-forward structure: fresh blueberries, white pepper, and plum. Medium acidity and tannins deliver a very balanced wine.

Pair this Cabernet Sauvignon with BBQ Tri-Tip, pasta with Italian sausage, and hard cheeses.

Clos LaChance is a family owned and operated winery. Started by Bill and Brenda Murphy (bottom left and bottom middle), they began making Chardonnay sourced from the vineyard planted in the backyard of their Saratoga home. Their winemaking hobby turned into a passion and a few years later, Bill and Brenda founded Clos LaChance winery in San Martin, just 30 minutes south of San Jose Ca. They later hired their two daughters, Kristin (top) and Chery (bottom right) who help run the winery today.
