Cascade Ridge Chardonnay 1998

As it happens, all the fruit for this vintage came from three vineyards in the Yakima Valley, which is a sub-appellation of the larger Columbia Valley. Being from the cooler upper end of the Yakima Valley, the flavors are delicate and clean with hints of honeysuckle and melon. The growing sites each show the distinct flavors of the terrior from which the grapes came.
