Modeled after the introductory tasting classes Kevin created for his famous Windows on the World Wine School (which graduated more than 20,000 students!), this is your opportunity to learn from the comfort of your home with Kevin's virtual wine course.

In the One Hour California Red Wine Expert class, students will taste and discuss wines from Napa (both Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot), a cool-climate Pinot Noir and a powerful Zinfandel while Kevin recounts his first trip hitchhiking from New York to California (50 years ago) when he visited the few quality wineries that existed at the time. Today there are more than 3,300 wineries!

The specific selection of wine, and vintage, can vary state to state but will always be fitting of the style required to best enjoy the class. All wines have been personally tasted and selected by Kevin and are standard 750ML bottles unless otherwise indicated.

About Kevin Zraly
Kevin Zraly has built an impressive wine and restaurant career over the past five decades. He was the Cellar Master and Wine Director of Windows on the World Restaurant atop One World Trade Center from 1976 – 2001. He is the founder and instructor of the Windows on the World Wine School that has graduated over 20,000 students to date. Kevin is the author of eight books, including the largest selling wine book in the United States, Kevin Zraly's Windows on the World Complete Wine Course, (4 million copies). Kevin is the recipient of the 2011 James Beard Lifetime Achievement Award and is a member of the Board of Trustees at the Culinary Institute of America. He is also the recipient of the Wine Literary Award (2006), and the European Wine Council Lifetime Achievement Award (2002).
