Alto Cinco is made in cooperation with Bodegas Paniza, in Aragon. With over 50 years of production history in Carinena, Bodegas Paniza is one of the most well respected wineries in Spain, but as of yet, is relatively unknown in the U.S. The state-of-the-art production facilities at Paniza have allowed the Purple Wine Company winemaking team to make the most sophisticated wine in its price point: utilizing an extensive cellar for optimal blending and barrique ageing. Moreover, the Paniza team has been able to lend its extensive knowledge of Garnacha and create a true transnational winemaking environment.
