The vineyard is located at the foot of one of the most famous spot of Saint-Emilion : Les Grandes Murailles. This imposing wall, last remnants of a gothic church that belonged to the order of the dominicans is owned by the Reiffers Family since 1643.

The vineyard stretches on 1.95 hectares and has a great clayey-limestone soil. The vines are very old and great attention is paid to grow the best grape: the plants, in majority merlots, are debudded and the work of green harvest, deleafing are carried out in order to keep six or seven bunches per foot.
