What is Wine.com StewardShip?
The Wine.com StewardShip Program is an annual membership program. For just $49 a year, StewardShip membership enables customers to enjoy unlimited standard shipping on their Wine.com purchases.
Highlights of our StewardShip program include:
- Unlimited Standard Shipping. Use for purchases of wine, gifts, accessories and more
- No minimum purchase. Use StewardShip to buy as much or as little as you want, as often as you want
- Valid for a full year. Your membership is valid for a full year from the date of purchase (with automatic annual renewal on the expiration date)
- Automatically applied to your order (you must be signed in). Your StewardShip shipping discount will be automatically applied to your order when you are signed into the account that you used to purchase your StewardShip membership

What are the exclusions?
ALASKA and HAWAII exclusions apply Since we cannot use standard ground shipping when sending wine to Alaska or Hawaii, your order will be sent using an expedited method. StewardShip members will be charged only the expedited shipping amount as StewardShip covers the standard shipping costs. In other words, you will be credited for standard shipping and charged an additional amount necessary to upgrade to expedited shipping. The shopping cart will indicate the shipping method and total charge on the final review page. While shipping to Alaska or Hawaii isn’t free, it’s still a great deal compared to the full cost of expedited shipping.

How is the discount applied?
You must be signed in to your Wine.com account to see your membership discount. Once you are signed in, you will see the StewardShip Member icon in the upper left side of the webpage and your shipping discount will be automatically applied in the Shopping Cart. If you are not signed in when you reach the Shopping Cart, you will be required to login during the checkout process and your shipping discount will appear at the Confirm Order stage of checkout.
Does the discount apply to expedited shipping or promotions?
The StewardShip discount is valid on Standard Shipping rates. If you choose any of our expedited or upgraded shipping methods, you will be charged only for the upgrade amount. You can also use non-shipping promotion codes. Only one promotion code can be used per order. Please check the details of the promotion code for all terms, restrictions, and requirements.
Does the discount apply to re-ship an undelivered order?
Yes! The StewardShip discount does apply to returned packages you would like to have reshipped! If an order did not reach you or the intended recipient and was returned to Wine.com, as a StewardShip member, we will cover the cost of standard shipping to have your order re-shipped. Re-ship requests that require expedited shipments will receive a credit for the cost of standard shipping but will charge any additional shipping costs required.
Does the discount apply for me to return an order?
The StewardShip discount is only applicable to shipments from our warehouse to the specified address on your order. If you choose to return an item to Wine.com, your credit will be for the total of your item less the required shipping and handling necessary to return the product back to our warehouse.
How do I send StewardShip as a gift?
Unfortunately, the program cannot be given as a gift because it is tied to the Wine.com account and email address of the person purchasing it. Instead, we recommend a gift certificate as a great way to give someone a gift that they can then choose to buy the program or something else.
How does the automatic renewal occur?
Your StewardShip membership automatically renews each year. You can choose not to renew or update your payment method by signing in to your account and editing your options. From the Your Account section, go to the StewardShip Settings link to make any changes to your membership. You will receive a notification 5 days before renewal.
