Made from 100% Cabernet from our finest blocks of Sacrache Vineyard in Rutherford, the 2011 "Exzellenz" is impressively vivid, concentrated and exotic. Typical of the fruit from this sight, the wine is deep ruby/purple in color with densely structured tannin exhibiting lots of juicy pomegranate, blueberry, gingerbread, new oak and mineral notes. This bold wine has immediate drinking appeal and will continue to develop over the next 15+ years.
