Winemaker's Notes:

Made from the grape of the same name, this is desert in a glass! Deep dark rich color with a sweet nose and long lingering sweet finish. Try this aged wine with a blue veined cheese, some toasted almonds or over vanilla ice cream.

Winemaker's Notes:

Our 2007 Chardonnay shows elegant layers of citrus, apple and nectarine fruit character from grapes grown in the cool, wind-swept vineyards of the Los Carneros region. Complex honeycomb and crème brûlée nuances add interest to the fruity aromas and then persist through the flavors and lingering finish. Barrel fermentation and aging add notes of toasted hazelnut and weight to the palate.

Our Chardonnay's silky, expressive flavors pair beautifully with rich entrées, such as lobster bisque, sautéed chicken breast with white truffles, grilled scallops or fettuccini Alfredo.

About Acacia Winery:

Situated just two miles from San Francisco Bay in the Carneros District of Napa Valley, Acacia Vineyard is distinguished by a cool microclimate dominated by wind and fog from the nearby Pacific Ocean, and by shallow, dense clay soils. While these difficult growing conditions limit grape production, they result in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes of rare power and complexity.

Founded in 1979, Acacia made one of the first Pinot Noirs in the Carneros District. Today Acacia is a leader in the new Carneros by handcrafting compelling Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays that defy conventional winemaking wisdom and consistently exceed expectations. A firm winemaking approach to Pinot Noir highlights the bold character of Carneros fruit while capturing the grape's earthy complexity and silky texture. Acacia's Carneros Chardonnay is ripe and crisp.

Winemaker's Notes:

The inaugural vintage of Monterey Chardonnay shows exotic floral and tropical fruit on the nose, punctuated by appealing butterscotch, lemon peel and spice notes. The palate expands into bright peach, grilled pineapple and honeysuckle with subtle toast and caramel adding richness and beautiful texture on the finish.

About La Crema:

Since 1979, La Crema Winery has been a pioneer in producing Burgundian varietals from the cool Sonoma coast. They handcraft their wine, one barrel at a time, at their family-owned estate located in the Russian River Valley. Balance, finesse and great fruit intensity come through in every glass of La Crema wine.

La Crema's location in the Russian River Valley is ideal for producing wines of uncompromising elegance and balance. To achieve this goal, several unique steps take place in getting fruit from the vineyards to the bottle. It begins in the vineyard, where careful canopy management and hand harvesting assure fully ripe, undamaged grapes are brought to the winery. At the winery, Winemaker Melissa Stackhouse uses artisan winemaking techniques to handcraft wines of distinctive flavor, elegance and balance.
