Winemaker's Notes:

 Pale straw with green hues. A lifted nose showing aromas of passionfruit, blackcurrant, grapefruit and nettles with refreshing underlying mineral notes. Light bodied and refreshing with typical Marlborough flavors of gooseberry, blackcurrant and grapefruit. A pleasing mineral note leads to a long lingering finish.

Perfect for drinking immediately, this Sauvignon Blanc will be at its best over the next two years.

About Saint Clair:

 The Saint Clair name originates from the vineyard property, first settled by the Sinclair family. Pioneer James Sinclair built one of the first homes in Blenheim and was closely associated with the early development of the town. Over time the name of the property reverted to the original Saint Clair.

Saint Clair Estate Wines is owned by Neal and Judy Ibbotson, pioneers of viticulture in Marlborough since 1978. Grapes were originally supplied to local wine companies; however, a desire to extend the quality achieved in the vineyard through to the finished wine led to the establishment of Saint Clair Estate Wines.

Winemaker's Notes:

 This is Glen Carlou's signature red wine. Rich ruby red in color this wine has aromas of red cherry with hints of young black fruits and oak. Flavors of black cured cherries, with layers of dark chocolate and tobacco with spice. The tannins are beautifully proportioned with mild toasted almond.

Winemaker's Notes:

 Tamari 2009 Reserva Malbec comes from the Uco Valley and high zones of the Mendoza River in Argentina. The vineyard is at an altitude of 900 to 1100 meters and the soil is stony, poor and fast draining. The climate is well balanced between warm daytime temperatures and cool nightime temperatures, good isolation and low rain level - bringing out the finest qualities of the Malbec varietal. Be sure to try this fruity, concentrated wine with grilled red meats, lamb, ostrich, wild boar, duck, pork and strong cheeses.

Color: Intense and deep red garnet

Aroma: Floral, fruity, intense, honest. Flowery notes of violets and jasmine, ripe red fruits, like plums, cherries and chocolate morello cherry. Aging in oak barrels adds complexity, and notes of hazel nuts, almonds and cinnamon.

Taste: Very good attack, good acidity, nice and delicate. It is a wine of medium body, long and tasty. The fruit in the mouth recalls notes of plums, caramel and toffee. Very interesting tannins, tasty, sucrose and long. A ripe fruit aftertaste and a very good persistence are emphasized.
